Compliance hotline

The sole purpose of DTTL Japan's compliance hotline* is to widely seek and obtain information about ethics and compliance issues related to its partners and/or employees so as to make the compliance mindset penetrate DTTL Japan's organization.
 
Any person who is not an employee of DTTL Japan's organizations can directly access the compliance hotline via the public Website to report or blow the whistle to the designated attorneys of "Anderson Mori Tomotsune Law Firm" regarding ethics and compliance issues, and/or potential violations of laws, professional standards and/or other non-compliance activities that you believe are related to DTTL Japan.
 
When you report, you are required to clearly write "DTTL Japan hotline" at the top of the headline of your e-mail and to identify the following:

  1. your name (anonymous reporting to the designated attorneys is not acceptable, but, as mentioned below, the anonymous reporting by such designated attorneys to the limited and related parties of DTTL Japan is available upon your request.)
  2. the brief description of the compliance issue
  3. the date on which such compliance issue occurred
  4. potential compliance issue you believe that is not being handled properly
  5. other beneficial or useful information for the investigation of such compliance issues.

After receiving information via the compliance hotline, the designated attorneys at Anderson Mori Tomotsune Law Firm may provide such information or submit a report to the limited and related parties of DTTL Japan in order to facilitate the investigation to resolve the compliance issues.  However, the anonymous reporting by the designated attorneys to DTTL Japan is available upon your request.  If you wish to do so, please indicate in your e-mail.
 
* The purpose of this compliance hotline is not intended to give protection or to provide benefit to the whistleblower, and therefore, the designated attorney does not assume any obligation including replying to, or to investigating on behalf of the whistleblower.  Further, the designated attorney does not provide any legal advisory services to such whistleblower.

The personal information which had been obtained by whistleblowing through this Compliance Hotline is used only for the purpose of reinforcement of ethics and compliance in DTTL Japan and is not used for any other purposes.
